Two or more years experience in customer service with a track record of success. Preferably in one of the following industries: Agricultural equipment, motor vehicle industry, outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, construction equipment and machinery, small engine and accessories.

Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Must be willing to work a normal 40 hours per week and longer hours as required to meet customer demands.

Able to Lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. plus work outdoors and indoors in all weather.

Must be proficient in renting equipment to customers at the rental counter.

Must have good organizational, multitasking, and reasonable computer skills.

Loads and unloads customers as required.

Target Responsibilities:

Establish and remain the main contact with all rental customers. Ensure that all rental contracts are entered, scheduled and accurately completed in the quickest possible timeframe.

Present a friendly, positive attitude to all customers.

Process and handle all rental contracts from start to finish.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

Begin each workday with a positive attitude by encouraging each employee to meet their daily and weekly goals. Work to develop a sense of “team” in the rental department and across other departments.

Reviews rental contracts for complete and accurate information. Determines work requirements and priorities.

Ensure machines are returned, inspected, cleaned and serviced in a timely manner to enable the machine to be rented again as soon as possible.

Ensure/perform routine maintenance of all equipment.

Maintain lot appearance and cleanliness.

Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and make management aware of any risks.

Assists in the assignment of work based on the priorities established by management.

Check to ensure all rental returns have been properly inspected and repaired for customer complaint. Machines must not sit with unresolved issues. Report all downtime to Rental Manager.

Settle all rental contracts as quickly as possible. Make certain that equipment does not leave company premises without payment.

Maintains quality control on work performed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

7-4 Monday-Friday, 8-12 every other Saturday

Salary:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
