Kubota Tech Program

Kubota Tech aims to build the Technicians of tomorrow by incorporating Kubota-centered curriculum into Technical Schools around the United States. Our Kubota Tech program will help to shape tomorrow's workforce by providing OEM certification programs through industry supported curriculum, and hands-on training. Kubota dealers will be able to hire well-qualified candidates who have earned Kubota Tech certifications. Student Technicians graduating from the program will be presented with career opportunities within Kubota’s network of 1,100 dealerships nationwide. 

This program is currently offered to students at the following colleges in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina:

  • TCAT-Elizabethton in Elizabethton, TN
  • Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL
  • Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Long Beach , MS
  • Johnston Community College in Smithfield, NC
  • Clover High School in Clover, SC

As an intern in the Kubota TECH program, you can expect to:

  • Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing tractor equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Learn to operate diagnostic tools and interpret diagnostic reports.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of service and repair tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on tractors.

The program prepares Technicians to inspect, service, diagnose, and repair Kubota equipment.

To be eligible for the Kubota TECH Program, applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Meet all entrance and academic requirements of the partnering school
  • Highly motivated in becoming a skilled Kubota Technician working on agricultural and construction machinery
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

To be eligible for the Kubota Toolbox Internship, applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

  • The student must be enrolled full-time in a Kubota TECH program
  • The student must be employed by a Kubota dealership and the dealer serve as the sponsoring employer
  • The student Technician must be recommended by the partnering dealer
